Our Story

Care Garden Therapy started with two practitioners, two mums, and one conversation that kept repeating itself.
We had spent years working in behaviour support, inside a system that too often left families waiting months for help, handed them reports they couldn’t use, and moved practitioners on just as trust was finally being built. We kept meeting people who’d been labelled “too hard” or “too complex”, when the truth was simpler: nobody had taken the time to properly understand them.

And as mums, we knew the other side of it too, to advocate for your own child, to feel like you’re explaining your family from scratch to yet another new face.
So we built a practice we kept wishing existed. One where practitioners have the time to do this work properly. Where lived experience of neurodivergence isn’t a footnote, it shapes how we listen, how we write plans, and what we assume about the people we work with. Where support is built for real life.

We’re a small practice. Every practitioner who joins us shares the same values, culturally safe, trauma-informed, genuinely curious about people, and committed to doing fewer things really well rather than spreading ourselves too thin.

Our belief is simple: every person has their own story, strengths and way of experiencing the world. Our role isn’t to change who someone is, it’s to understand them, support them, and help build environments where they can thrive as themselves.

We’re More Than Practitioners.

We’re parents, listeners, advocates, and lifelong learners.

We work together to provide the highest quality, neuroaffirming support, so you and your loved one can thrive.
